Coming home

"There's no place like home... there's no place like home..."
There are many types of travellers, but at the end of the journey, 2 camps stand out the most - those who cherish the thought of coming home to the familiar, and  those who would rather the journey continue.

In recent months, the team at Alien Logistics worked with a few travellers who had made the long journey from Europe all the way across Asia, and ended their journey at the toe of South East Asia, Malaysia.
For one family, it was the end of a long & interesting break from the everyday, and they were looking forward to hanging up their traveling socks for the time being and getting back to being normal people. They had amazing stories, and for sure, luck was on their side as they traveled over 10,000km without a spare tyre!

Oof! Good driving, Thomas!
The vehicle they were travelling in was a converted fire truck, whose body was used as a mobile bunker during WWII.

The inside was exceptionally well planned & looked comfortable enough without getting cold sweats or acute claustrophobia. It was interesting that there was a postcard saying "Question everything" which is a philosophy I quite subscribe to as well! Good to know there are others like me out there...

I just wanted to say thank you again, to Thomas & Verena who put their trust in us to ship their home back to Europe; and for the lovely flowers :) To follow their travels, tap into their thoughts at www.buwe.de/tv

Thank you, Verena!
